Noisy neighbors /Party Houses-

1. Call 911 to report all instances of noise violations. This will help create a record of complaints against the violators. Ask your neighbors to call as well so that multiple complaints are registered.
2. Contact Charlie Kline 215-686-3052. He is the Community Relations Officer of the Philadelphia Police Department. The CRO will make every effort to visit the violators and confront them about the noise levels.

Nuisance bars -
1. Call 911. Complaints about nuisance bars must be made to the Police by calling to document the problem in City records. Ask your neighbors to call as well so that multiple complaints are registered.
2. Also, contact our state representative to document violations of LCB policies.

Meeting started at 7:30 pm
New Business

Guest Speaker: Vince DeFino, attorney representing property owner Leonard Bove, regarding 404 Leverington Avenue.The proposal is for the construction of a 4 car open air, end to end parking space, along a “driveway” next to this single family dwelling. The space is 8 feet wide and the current zoning requires 8’6”. Current zoning also requires a minimum 5 foot side yard, current proposal would not allow for a side yard.The property owner has already obtained permission from the Philadelphia Streets Department, for the curb cut.The lawyer has petitioned the neighbors regarding this proposal and has had no objection.CRCA will also conduct a survey of the neighbors in regards to this issue.The hearing date is Jan. 24, 2012 at 9:30 a.m.

Old Business

There was discussion about the December 2011 presentation to CRCA regarding the former Golden Chrysler Plymouth Dealership on Ridge Avenue between the Roxborough Library at Hermitage St and the A-Plus at Leverington Avenue.Neighbors state they would like the future owner, Planet Fitness, to re-open, if possible, the entrance to the 4 foot easement at the back of the property lines(odd numbered homes fronting Hermitage St)The current arrangement includes a “retaining” wall and landscaping, approximately 4 feet high.The neighbors are also concerned with any new lighting arrangements that may flood their home with unwanted illumination from the proposed 24 hour Planet Fitness operation.
RDC has officially moved to 6111 Ridge Avenue.
There was increased graffiti reported in the Wissahickon Park near Kitchens Lane.
